Ftvb??
Ftvb??
Ok, I decided I want to blow some money and I am thinking about getting a FTVB, but as usual I have some questions.
I know this is probably the wrong forum too, but I figured all the smart people would see it here
And I plan to get it from Mike.
First, does anyone know of a place that has a how to on installing one (besides fordf150.net) or a place that has instructions that come with the VB?
How hard is one to install? Is it something the average man can install or should I let someone who actually knows what they are doing put in?
Now here is a stupid question-I have no idea what tranny I have.
Im not really a Ford man (YET!) so I havent memorized all this stuff yet
. Does is say on the bottom of the tranny pan or somewhere? Or if someone could tell me, its a 99 2wd Lariat w/4.6 liter.
Finally-would it be worth it just to wait and get a tuner (6600) instead of the FTVB. How does the tuner stack up to the FTVB as far as tranny adjustments?
Thanks guys
