102 octane gas!!!!!!
Is that 102 Octane still UNLEADED ?
My company makes a high octane gasoline, but it is leaded, and will ruin Oxy sensors and cats.

To Mike, At Superchips,
I had a question about premium gas when using the super chip. I know that in order to get the best out of the chip one must run premium. In california that means 92. Well I live near Near a place that is used for diesel fueling and race car type fueling because they offers 102 octane. The brand of gas is from 76 which i already use only the regular 92. The gas is about 2.30 a gallon and if it is possible I would like to know if this super high octane will enhance the superchip even more than regualr 92 premium. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated

HI!... You can run 100+ octain with the SUPERCHIP but to get a bit more H.P and performanse you will have to have the chip calibrated for it or your just wasting your money. I have a flip-chip that when in "RACE" mode is set-up for 100+ octain (UNLEADED) race fuel. MIKE T set up my chip, so I would advise you to contact him about it. It is possibly to get UNLEADED 100+ octain racinf fuel but it is expensive. Here in CANADA you are looking at $400-$450 for a 45 gallon drum. You guys are right that LEADED fuel WILL damage 02 sensors and cats. Same thing applies to that 104 octain booster aditive. Hope this helps you out.

That's an excellent question!
And generally speaking, no, using 102 octane won't get you appreciably more power from the "standard" Superchip for your computer code, that is going to require a custom program to get more power from 102 octane.
Now what we can do is to make a custom program specifically for the use of 102 octane, and pull more power out of it like that. To do that, I would suggest using our 2-program Superchip Flip Chip, as you won't want to run that expensive 102 octane all the time, but instead, what you'd be better of doing is have one of the programs in the Flip Chip be aset up for 100+ octane, and then the other program set up for normal pump premium of 92 octane. That way, you can still run on pump premium and get nice power gains, and then when you want to, run the 102 and get the maximum power gains from it.
You might want to give us a call to go over all the specific details, that is what I would suggest, so we can cover all the bases and potential implications, what you're doing with the vehicle and what you want to be able to do, etc., we'll be happy to go over all of that with you.
