Hey I was traveling down I-81 the other day and this new dodge V-8 extended cab came up beside of me and looked at the Triton V-8 badge on the front fender and he just laughed, well I punched my big Ford and we ran down the road with me constantly pulling ahead until at 95 mph he looked like he just ran out of power, thanks to the superchip my truck kept pulling until about 110 (guess on the speedometer) You can easily get those chevies and dodges on top end with the chip. The road was straight and level for over a mile and no other traffic.

You know, in years gone by, you could almost always tell if a vehicle was fast, you could hear & see it. In today's computer controlled vehicles, you never can tell is someone has done a "stealthy" type of mod that gives you that kind of performance.

I'm sure you surprised that Mopar owner!

Scratch one 98 or older Chevy reg cab off for me. Boy was he surprised, he followed me into the parking lot after I blew him away. He said no Ford 4x4 ORP ex cab ever beat him before. I was at the light waiting for green, he pulled up next to me . As the light turned we took off in normal speed but my one wheel wonder spun and squeaked the tire.He stomped it and got a half truck jump on me . I punched it and passed him with the right rear screaming bye bye.He had the 350 CI (255 HP) auto 4x4 w/3:73 gears even. I told him the new Fords are fast with the chip in. We left on good terms also.
Alos killed a VW bug that night , but they are really not that fast any way.
Keep the banter civil just me, other forums I used to visit turned into a slug fest.It is always a pleasure to rib one another untill things get mean. You sound like good person lets keep it fun

My brother has a 99 Z71 4x4 super cab with a 5.3 V8 270 hp, and when we get on the hyw and we race i see him disaper in my rear view mirror, and all i have is the stuff below in my signature, wow was he pissed!

Unfortunately I bought a 99 Z71, 5.3L 4x4 supercab....Thank God I sold it before my warranty ran out. It performed well, but my Ford is definitely superior in quality. So was my 97 Ford F150.....I will leave it that!!

 

Looks like "Just Me" took his Chevy and went home
