It's hard to believe another year has gone by so quickly, I guess time flies when you're having fun, as they say.
It's been a great year for F-150 Online, with a lot of new people joining us, hanging out here learning more about our vehicles & meeting new friends, and the web site expanding and offering ever more resources, continuing its tradition as the best Ford truck site on the Internet.
Thanks of course go to Webmaster Steve Eppinger and his wife, as well as to all the people that make up the F-150 Online community, we thank you all!
For all of you out celebrating this New Year's Eve, please use a designated driver or take a cab if you're seriously imbibing. Have fun in large quantities, just don't drink & drive. Speaking as a person who was nearly killed by a drunk driver and hence lived to learn better, you'll be doing all of us a favor. OK, I'm off my soapbox, sorry!
We're looking forward to enjoying this next year even more than the past few years here on F-150 Online, as 2001 brings more features, rallys & events, and of course, more new friends.

Happy New Year to ALL! This is a great info site for F-150 owners. Mike sure has a tough job keeping up. Good, bad and everything. I'll be in touch Mike. After the holiday bills are paid! Sounds like it's a Superchip for my baby soon! Now the exaust thread has me second guessing a full cat back system. One post said a Flowmaster 70 with the stock piping will be sufficent. I saw in a magazine a Bassani system. Looks hi quality didn't call for a price yet. Any comment Mike?

It seem to me the computer in the newer Fords take longer to learn the mod's that we do to our trucks than say my {91 Mustang}10.05 at 136 mph at 3640# on street legal tires. MJD5.4

As far as exhaust systems, there are all kinds of things you can do, muffler swaps with the factory system usually get you about a 5 hp gain, while keeping your low-end torque, so that is certainly a low-cost option. Personally, I usually prefer to go with a cat-back system that has been properly flow-engineered, like Gibson, Dynomax's Super Turbo cat-back, I don't know which Flowmaster would be best others are saying I think thw 70 series, and there are others.
