Cool

Hey, those were taken on a bad angle !! That blue ladder (my truck) was way ahead of Neal's truck ... well maybe not that far ahead. Great pics.

Neal: Figured out that I have around 225 HP now with the modifications.

Mike T. I dropped the hammer yesterday and it dropped two gears to take off. It might have been that the computer was still learning since the exhaust went on the Friday morning before we all went to Milan Dragway. I would think that 6 runs down the track wouldn't help the computer learn much about street driving. I will call on Wednesday sometime to have a chat.

Have Fun & Keep on Truckin'

Mr. SuperChips Distributor:

Can you give me an honest opinion of what would be the most bang for buck upgrade for the scenario I have.

1999 2WD Lariat, Reg. Cab Stepside ,5.4, 3.55 LS - Goodies are: SuperChips (had to solder per your great intructions on phone!) Dynomax Catback, and K&N Gen2 System

Considering what you've said as well as what it looks like the other people in F150Online have mentioned maybe the Pwr Pulley's or should it be a MAF Meter. I know, I know - point of diminishing returns has been met but I want more, a little greedy I guess. Also, I noticed Neal showed he had a TPS Modification. What's up with that and how's it play in?

Always Looking for More POWER!!

Hey LaunchinLiteLariat!
I've been here almost two years and that is the rarest late model F150 configuration I've heard of. I was starting to think that none were even built.

Do you have pics anywhere?

Hey Rauol,
I do (data) but not posted on the internet. If I'm getting the drift for the UBB Code then I'll need to be up on it. I'll be getting my personal page up soon hopefully. I did put together a signature with a little more detail however.

Love that Lariat!

HI!... I was just wondering if there is anyone here on F-150 ONLINE using CAL-TRAC traction bars? I know a ton of the LIGHTNING guys are using them. For those who have got them installed on their truck, How do they fit? Did it help your 60foot times? Did it help your 1/4 mile times. Did it help with wheelhop? I'm curious because I am running 14.53 in the 1/4 mile right now and am looking for faster times. Right now I am consentrating on my short times. I am doing a 2.0 second 60 foot time currently and want to break into the 1.9-1.8 second range. I also get considerable wheelhop when the roads are slightl wet. If you can, what was the improvement in 60 foot times after the installation of the CAL-TRACS.

THANKS IN ADVANCE- NEAL

Hi LaunchinLiteLariat,

OK, since you won't let me give you my dishonest opinion, I guess I'll have to give you my *honest* to goodness, truthful as I can be opinion.

All kidding aside, at this point the very best "bang-for-the-buck" would probably be to go with a nice 3-piece set of underdrive pulleys. They're worth about 11.8 hp to the rear wheels from what we've had a chance to see on the dyno, as a result of reducing the parasitic losses driving the accessories.

You need to choose the order of course, but the next 3 mods for you might be headers, pulleys, & converting to electric cooling fans, with bang-for-the-buck next move being the underdrive pulleys.

Good luck!

Hey Mr. SuperChips Distributor,

Thank you for being *honest*. I would be pretty foolish not to value your opinion judging from the extensive knowledge you've shared on this site as well as sheer volume of happy customers you've helped to create.
Looks like I'm in the market for a good set of pulleys for now! Thanks Again!!

Hey Raoul, sorry about the typo on your screename. I'm working on getting a site together also.
