Diablo Chip
Does anyone have any experience with the Diablo chip? I see Superchip everywhere on the board, but no Diablos. I have a 2001 screw w/ a 4.6, K&N and catback system.

THIS IS THE FIRST I'VE HEARD OF THEM, WITH A NAME LIKE THAT IT COULD BE A CHEAP IMMITATION MADE SOUTH OF THE BORDER. I WOULD DEFINATELY INVESTIGATE BEFORE PLOPING DOWN THE CASH FOR ONE. YOU DON'T WANT TO ATTACH SOMETHING TO YOUR PUTER THAT COULD FRY IT AND ALL YOUR WIRING TOO. UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE OF THOSE PISTON SLAPPERS OUT OF WARRANTY. TRUCK ON!

I have the diablo chip in my truck along with a superchip I went to the track last night with a friend who has the same truck and we each made 10 passes 5 with each chip I can tell you that both of these chips were good for 4 tenths!The superchip is little more stronger down low but the diablo chip is definitely stronger on the big end.I like the shifting better on the superchip.The diablo company will make you your chip to your needs.The owners used to work at superchips.If you want the fastest chip go with a Johnny Lightning superchip it is good for around 6 tenths.

Good to hear someone has had a solid experience w/ the chip. I ordered a superchip and they told me it could be up to 6 weeks to get it because it was a new code. Diablo will have one for me on Monday. Ken Payne @ Ford Truck Enthusists said it was just as good as the Superchip and the guys over @ Diablo were from Superchips.
