Its about time you bought one Jaguar.
It is one of the nicest mods I have ever purchased. I specifically enjoy the options it gives on different tunes, and the ability to update the tunes via E-mail from Mike.
Enjoy....

When I ordered mine I said I would'nt do it but I ended up doing it, what the hell is it? chasing the UPS truck down after a week.
Read the instructions carefully and most important!!!! Buckle your seat belt before you start the program. Do the economy tune first,,,,then after that it just gets better as you change program...I had it on the performance program last week and nailed it out of a Sonic at 6 AM and got pulled over..the cop tried to tell me he was pulling me over for the registration being out...not!!!!..there was that nice new sticker on the windshield..BWWAAHHAAHHAA.. Your gonna love it

For those of you with a chip/tuner. Did you upgrade your serpentine belt to a Gatrorback? I have head stories of it squealing with the OEM belt.

If so, looks like I have to call Anita T back today to order one.

TIA,

Jag

yes

i got the gaterback, save yourself the headache now and buy one!

here's a good tip--program troyers number into your cell so you can call anytime you need.

after the 9100, YOUR GOING TO WANT MORE!

make it easy on yourself so you don't have to dig for the number.

your going to love it.
good luck, Randy

From a mild manored street car to a full blown drag strip beast in less than 8 minutes with the SCT9100. It is an unbelieveable tool.

Hi Jaguar,

Congratulations on finally taking the plunge, good for you!

Doing the Gatorback was a wise idea as well - every one of these vehicles will exhibit belt squeal on the WOT 1-2 upshift with performance tuning installed, and some of them do it even in bone-stock trim.

You're going to love it!

Hey Marc - good to see you again, too!

Hey Mike, I am off to Norwalk and the FFW tomorrow....Gonna see if I can still drive this thing. Got the car on the trailer with its favorite drink in the tank, and will leave at 5:00 in the morning to run the Quick Ford class. Weather is forecasted to be 85 and partly cloudy.
I will let you know the results..

Hi Marc,

We're going to miss that one - we'll be at Bristol the first weekend in August.

Let me know what happens - please datalog each of your drag strip runs so I can evaluate the last tuning changes - I may want to do some more changes, as we've never yet gotten that thing properly datalogged again since the last tuning changes.

Good luck!

Mike,
Should I buy the 1715 or the 9100? My truck is stock except for the tires. Might decide to change gears on day. Currently running the 3.55's. Wanting to order a programmer today!

thanks,

Hi 1saw,

First - any time you want info quickly from us, you'll need to call us, as it can sometimes take 2-3 days for me to see a post here and have time to respond to it - so calling is the only way to get a "quick" or same day response from us. Just FYI...

As you can see from the info in the posts here from the members who have used both the 1715 and then the 9100 with our custom tuning on the same vehicle, going with our custom tuning (9100 for Micro Tuner, 6600 for multi-program chip) is always preferred - that way you get our custom tuning & the largest power & performance gains, as well as best mpg. You can use the Search feature here to look up posts from fellow F-150 Online members like "openclasspro," "watsonr," etc. to see their reviews.

In short, for those concerned with getting the best power & performance, always go with our custom tuning, as you'll get 30%-40% (or more) larger power gains compared to what you get with the "standard" Superchips tuning. That's another 10-12 HP in any of these trucks bare minimum, and in some applications up to twice that amount over the gains you get from the 1715.

That info should help for now, & please don't hesitate to call us for more specifics, to get your order in the quickest, etc.

Best of luck whatever you decide!
