Periodic RPM Rev
Well here we go again too Mike... The problem can be anywhere but with the chip. I'm glad that in your mind the Superchip is infallable, but the reality is it isn't. By your own admission 98% of Superchip owners have no problem, well that leaves 2% with problems. My pet theories about edge connectors are more than theory, I'm sorry if you don't have the experience to prove me wrong beyond just telling me I am. Yeah, they work well in the case of Superchips, but they don't work well 100% of the time.
Mike if you are truely willing to help I give you 3 options, 1. Full refund, 2. New Chip, or 3. I'll continue to my share my current problems with the chip when the issue comes up. I'm not making any of this up to hurt you or Superchips any, but the truth is, they aren't perfect, nothing is. You need to learn to accept the fact that there will be chip-related problems, even if it's only 1-2% of the time, something which clearly you do not.

Well, I know that all of you here are using superchips but I am using a Hypertech chip and having the same problems with the revs but only on "cold starts". After the engine is warm the problem does not occur. I am working very closely with Hypertech to get the problem resolved. I don't believe it has anything to do with the actual chip itself.. maybe the program. Everyone likes to try to blame the chip but it's the program that runs the chip. Work with whomever sold you the chip.. you'll be surprised at how interested they are in helping you resolve the problem.
