Exclamation A new question for Mike

Does the Superchip come with "bail" money?

I removed the ECU tonight to clean the connector so when my "chip" comes in I won't have to wait. Anyway, after I hooked everything back up, I went for a spin. In third gear, turning around 4300 rpm, the speedo needle was firmly buried in the peg at 100mph and speed still climbing. When I finally eased off WOT (never hit the speed limiter), the tranny shifted into OD and rpms dropped to about 3000. "Coasted" along for a while before the needle moved off the peg.

I should have gotten "Z" rated tires.

Hi Nomo,

Great to see you around here again!

That is entirely possible, as the top speed limiters can be set anywhere from 98 mph to as high as 108 mph on the V-8's.

Bail money, that's a good one!

If you get caught going over 100 mph, you're liable to be locked up in most states, that is very true!
