Supercharger for 2001 Supercrew 5.4?
Anyone boosted one yet? What unit and price? How is the perrformance?

I have a kenne bell blower on my 97 expedition and I am very impressed with the power increase. I can light up the tires with a slight tap of the throttle and full boost is at 2000 rpms. It also looks great on top of the 5.4. The kit is very compleate and comes with the kenne bell shift valve and every thing else for a slick install.

Just so you'll know, the powertrain in the 2001 Super Crew 5.4 is the same as the power train in all the 1999 & newer 5.4 F-150's. Meaning, blower kits for the 1999 & newer 5.4 F-150 will generally work just fine on the Super Crews as well, the engine & transmission is the same.
Right now one of the hottest kits on the market is the Magnacharger, which is a positive-displacvement blower design, so it makes boost instantly. These types of blowers are great torque producers even as low as 2000 rpm.
There are also other blowers out there, like the Powerdyne, Wynjammer, Vortech, ATI's procharger, and a number of others. The point being there are a *lot* of different kits out ther for these F-150's, you have plenty to choose from!
The best thing to do is what you are already doing, asking others what they're using and how they like them, etc., as there are a number of people here who have installed superchargers on their F-150's. You should get back some good responses here.
