My Code on my 2K F-150 is CPE2, has anyone had probs ith that computer as far as needing to solder jumpers or anything else for that matter?

Welcome to F-150 Online!

Just so you'll know, you cannot reliably predict by computer code which vehicles will be affected by the jumper mis-configuration that affected some 1999 Fords.

However, no 2000 vehicle has been affected so far here, that problem is limited primarily to certain vehicles built fairly early in the 1999 model-year production run. There have been a few later 1999's that also were affected, just a few, but no 2000's to date.

Hi guys,

By the way, just to give you a bit more info on your CPE2-code, that was the first code for the California-spec 2000 F-150 5.4 automatic. Only California-spec vehicles, meaning those built specifically with the California emissions package will get that code. A couple other states use the California emissions package, so they could see it too.

We have a good number of those CPE2-codes already running that Superchip, with no problems with jumpers, etc.
