Question Location of PCM?

Mike Troyer- thanks for your help this morning. I ended up with a custom dual exhaust setup and I also ordered a K&N FIPK which should be here tommorow. I am having trouble locating the chip. I don't see it by the psg. side kick panel but I do see a wiring harness on the firewall behind the battery that has the code DJJ3 on it. I'm guessing this is the code. Where's the chip? Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Congratulations on your exhaust, how do you like the tone now? And did you exit it in front of the wheels, or behind?

As we talked about over the phone, you can judge the computer's location by the wiring harness there on the firewall, as it connects there at the firewall to the front of the computer. The computer will be above the passenger's kick panel. It will have a black pressure clip holding it to it's mounting bracket. The computer is a 6" X 9" aluminum box, just so you know what you're looking for.

Don't worry, the Superchip comes with all the instructions you'll need to locate and remove the computer for installation. In addition, Chris Duke's web site, as Spargo2 mentioned in his reply, has excellent photo's etc. that you can take a look at before you get it to familiarize yourself.

You have found your code, DJJ3, that's it!

Just give us a shout, and we'll get you taken care of.

Have a good weekend,

The tone is great. I think I did lose a little torque. I exited in front of the wheel because of the ground effects I have on it. Wife says it is too loud. Tough sh.., next case. The website Spargo2 sent me to was very helpful. Thanks. Mike, I will talk to you in the next couple of days if not today. Thanks again.
