Well after installing my superchip this morning, which took a while longer than anticipated due to the fact that I have one of the complicated trucks and had to remove the batter and housing, also I had to remove the metal bracket which holds the computer because the lip wasn't allowing me to get the computer back in there and I couldn't get enough leverage to bend it back with it in there. The installation other than those minor details was smooth, even the cleaning of the contacts, which I was a little wary of because I didn't want to screw anything up, went well. I want to thank everyone on this website that has posted information on installation procedure and tips. Also a big thanks to Chris Duke, for his very helpful page. And last but definitely not least, thanks Mike for all your help in all the questions I had and helping me. I've only taken the truck out around the neighborhood, but WOW! And I'm not just saying that, I was laying down tracks turning corners, which was rather fun. I made sure I ran out all my fuel that I had in there because I had put 87, but now I have 91 and I can't wait to burn up all of it. Thanks.

Sounds like you ran across some of the things we mention in the tips sheets we send with the Superchip, like that different mounting bracket with the lip on it.
