TColegrove:
I never said that my existing mods would not void my warranty. Also I stated that I am happy with all my current mods and I am undecided on ether fixing/selling the Superchip.

Gorp and All,

Now the latest claim is that he purchased this custom Superchip from *US*??!

If that is true, then why have we never heard a single word from you?!? Why wouldn't you contact us to let us know you were having a problem? WHY? If you have a problem with your vehicle you take it into your dealership for service, right? If you have a problem with a particular product, why would you not contact that vndor to let them know? Are we supposed to read your mind?!?

We have no idea what your real name is, all we know is what we see you posting here under the name "GORP".

And no, it is not up to us to contact you in this matter, once again (as usual) you have things mixed up. We cannot read your mind, we have no idea who you are. And given your behavior here, I have absolutely no intention of spending 1 minute of my time trying to figure out who you are, or making contact with you.

If you actually did purchase this custom Superchip from us, it's very simple; pick up the phone, and dial our number, and let's get it taken care of. Your refusal to contact us, after all the other crap you've posted here, really doesn't do much for your credibility.

So I will say it again: if you purchased this from us, all you have to do is contact us and identify yourself, and we will be more than happy to take care of any *real* problems there may be. Simple enough? We're here until 7 pm Eastern, and have 24 hr,. voicemail, so you can *easily* contact us.

As a matter of fact, we even offered to help you BEFORE you claimed to have purchased this thru us, and even then, after saying you would contact us, you still haven't! Instead, you now claim that you bought it from us and that if we want to communicate with you, we have to call you. {Yawn}

Unless and until you do pick up the phone and call us, this is all a waste of time, and an excellent example of what happens when you cannot keep your stories straight.

Gorp,

It's a good thing your from "Friendswood" cause you surely don't have many admirers on this site. Get a life Gorp! It's time to give up this little crusade of yours.

Quoted,

To The Superchip Distributor and others that are interested........
I have over 30 years of experience dealing with Ford Motor Company/Ford Service and currently employed by a Ford Dealership. I have been involed in all phases of service and parts. I know Ford's Warranty and Policy Manual like the back of my hand; and know very well of what Ford Motor Company expects of their dealerships. (Which Ford Motor Company backs dealer decisions 100%). I have many customers with a Superchip and various after-market products on their automobiles. Should they have a problem with their automobile; and it is detetmined to be the fault of the after-market device, the customer is notified that this is a non-reinburseable condition that Ford Motor Company will not cover.
If you question my experience and knowledge;
I do have access to any Technical Service Bulletins, and any Technical Information that pertains to any automobile.

Most Ford Dealerships have digital imaging, which Ford requires the dealer to take a photo and transmit to an adjustor at Ford Motor Company. This adjustor will make a decision if the claim should be covered or not.

A dealer has no problem working on a automobile, as long as the repairs are paid for. Should you have a problem with your automobile, about items that are not covered under your warranty; you can suggest that the claim be submitted to Ford. Ford will pay or reject the claim. If the claim is paid by Ford, under your warranty, you will get you money back. Should Ford deny the claim, you have to pay for all repairs done to your automobile, that Ford did not cover.

In closing, should a customer get hostile, rude or angry with the dealer's decision; dealerships DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYBODY FOR ANY REASON FOR WHAT SO EVER!!!!!

I figured you for a more than one tree man.
Never show all your cards up front, eh?

Just how many trees do you have in reserve and when were you planning on whipping them out on us?

Anyway, let's just stick to the subject at hand.
The last thing we need is naked shrubbery pictures.

Gorp, how is that any different from any of your other aftermarket stuff? You want a factory tech to tell you that your SuperChip won't void your warranty before you install it?

Did you do that with your supercharger? Nope!! Why? Because the same principle applies to other aftermarket performance parts as well. You just seem to have a personal vandetta against SuperChips which is starting to get real old now. Why are you singling out SuperChips? They affect your warranty no different than any other performance parts!! Come on Gorp, let's have some serious answers!

Y2K OffRoad:
I do not have any personal vendetta against SuperChips. My major concern with SuperChips is what is does to all the other electronic controlled systems on my truck.

I bought my chip from Mike T. and it has never completely worked right. I talked to Mike T. in the past and came to the impression that he really wasn’t interested in resolving the problem. I then called SuperChips direct to see if they would help. This was a big mistake because they are some of the rudest most unhelpful people I have ever talked to. So in my opinion I think if SuperChips itself will not help me with my chip I don't think Mike T. will be able to ether. (No offence to Mike T.) My truck has been completely checked out by Ford and there is nothing wrong with it.

I will call Mike T. today and see if he will help to resolve this problem. Then maybe I will be back in the SuperChip club.
