Excellent question!

If you trade in your vehicle on another Ford, as long as it uses the same basic computer, which of course the V-8 F-150's do, then we simply reflash your existing Superchip to the new code. If this happens within 6 months of your original date of purchase, we do this free of charge, you only pay shipping.

So if you were to, for example, get a 2000 V8 F-150, we can easily reflash your Superchip to the new vehicle's computer code.

Mike, you are right, waiting is the hardest part but well worth it. I'am thinking about getting a flip chip. After reading some of the post's, it sounds like it might be a good investment. That's what I like about F-150 Online, lots of good first hand info.

Yep, I agree, after deciding to plunk the money down on a brand new vehicle, the hardest part is waiting for it to actually be built & arrive! Usually it's not too long with these vehicles, luckily.

A few years back, I had ordered a Saleen S-351 supercharged Mustang, and waited about 18 months or so before finally giving up andf cancelling it, back when they were on hard times financially. They've since recovered and done very well I'm happy to say, but I sure wish I had gotten that Saleen!! I think that was the worst "wait" I ever had, other than waiting to hit the lottery.

Your list of future mods in your signature are the top 3 bang-for-the-buck mods for these vehicles, so it looks like you've got some excellent plans!

Hope you don't have to wait too long, & it'll be well worth it I'm sure.

Hmmm, you do have a point there; if you're going to spend $25K - $30K+ on a new truck, you might as well add a few hundred bucks and make it run like you want!

I would have loved to have seen that S-351 too, unfortunately, I ran out of patience about a year too soon. It would have been a great-looking screamer, but, oh well.
