Superchip installed
I got my computer back from Superchips today(bad jumper box) and all I can say is AWESOME.I went from a JET to the Superchips Chip and the difference is beyond explanation.If you think your gains were good with Jet then you are easy to please becaues Superchips kicks Jet's a$$.Tranny shifts are 100times better than Jet,power was noticeable from the start.If it gets better over the next few months it is a total bonus.

As we suspected, it was an easy fix, just connecting the jumpers that Ford's supplier left open by mistake was all that was required to get you up and running with the Superchip.
I'm glad you're now able to enjoy your new Superchip, that's the way it is *supposed* to be!
As far as Winston Cup drivers, I like just about all of them. Dale Jarrett has done a fine job, and Mark Martin could have just as easily had 3 or 4 championships by now, it's just a bit of luck one way or the other. I personally think that Mark shouldn't be running the Busch races, but instead save and concentrate his efforts on Winston Cup, but that's just my opinion, and we all know what they're worth.
I have to confess being a Jeff Gordon fan even though he isn't driving a Ford (please don't even start, I've heard it all before), as he is a fine driver, one of the very best to ever sit behind the wheel of a Cup car. But then, that "kid" has been racing since he was what, 4 or 5 years old?!? A lot of people resent him because he was lucky enough to be able to come into Winston Cup with more than enough money and resources behind him to make that team financially able to do just about anything that money can provide, while a lot of other drivers have had to beg, scrape, and scrap rides any way they could. Look at **** Trickle, now that 54 some-odd year old guy could drive rings around most of them if only he had the equipment, I firmly believe. Now *there* is a driver! Go ****!
I'd like to see Ricky Rudd win a championship, I'd *love* to see Mark Martin win a championship. There are a lot of very fine drivers out there, and I respect all of them.
You guys want a good laugh? My cousin Maynard Troyer is the guy on ABC's Wide World of Sport's opening scenes, where the stock car is shown flipping time after time down the backstrech at one of the superspeedways. He holds the dubious distinction of flipping more times than anyone else, at Daytona I think, so he's one of their "agony of defeat" guys. This happened back in '79, if memory serves, and since then he's been building the Troyer chassis that is so popular in a number of NASCAR's lower classes. And no, we've never even met.

So sad-- I blew it by ordering my chip late in the day on Wednesday. I thought it was coming today but I have to wait til Monday. At least it will there in time to go roost some bowties at the LB Grand Prix and California Speedway. April is a good month this year!
