New Holley Thunder and SuperChip
Hi Mike, I ran across and article in this months Sport Truck about the new Holley Thunder Super Charger for the 5.4L F150. Doing further research on the Charger it mentioned that Super Chip was the programer for the chip that went with the Charger and the Numbers were very impressive. If you have any further info on this charger with your chip, I would find it interesting. Thanks. BTW the charger will not fit the 4.6L and is only for the 5.4L

Thanks for your comments Mike, I guess I am just amazed at the involvement of SuperChip in the industry! The Holley is going to be a great product for the 5.4L guys and it is really nice to know that SuperChip is involved with this product!
Dear Flats Man,
Superchips does this for many of the supercharger manufacturers, actually. Adding a supercharger requires doing a custom program to get the A/F ratios correct, for best power, and for best driveability. Some blower manufacturers still try to claim that because these vehicles use a mass airflow system, that it will automatically compensate for the supercharger, whic is dead-wrong. That isn't true, unfortunately, as the supercharger adds enough additional airflow that it goes well beyond the system's ability to compensate properly.
This is nothing new, Superchips has been doing this for years with a lot of the blower manufacturers such as Vortech, etc.
For specific information on that Holley product, you need to contact the supercharger manufacturer directly.
We supply a lot of custom Superchip programs for supercharger installations, and anytime a blower kit does not include a properly custom programmed chip, you need to add one to get the best protection for your engine, and to get the best power & driveability from your supercharger installation.
