Alrhigth I was hopeing you would ask. It is not as loaded as my 97 Lariat but it was all I could afford. I am getting a tow vehicle for my 24 foot Prowler camper. And boy will this one do it!

It is a 2000 F250, Super Cab, Short bed, Oxford white. 5.4L (the new improved 260 HP one) with of course the 4R100 tranny, 3.73, towing package, XLT trim (you know power locks and windows) grey cloth captains chairs, regular mirrors but the Deluxe aluminum wheels.

Hey cphilip,

You might just want to hang onto your Superchip! We can probably reflash it to your new vehicle, since it's a 5.4, and not a V-10 or Powerstroke. If you're interested, jsut give us a shout and I'll give you all the details. You might want to go ahead and check your new vehicle's computer code, to see if we have it yet. The Super Duty trucks have their code stickers in the *driver's* door frame, in between the door hinges. In other words, in the exact same location as on your F-150, but over on the driver's side of the vehicle. It will still be 3 letters and a number.

I didn't mean to butt in on your thread here, but I just wanted to let you know that this is a possibility. And if not, you shouldn't have any problem finding a new home for an IMP4 code Superchip, a *lot* of 97's use that code.

Best of luck whatever you decide, & congrats on your new 2000!

OK Mike. I should have thought to check with you first but I had no idea. So for now it is off the market! I will check the code and get with you before I let it go. Thanks for the heads up.

BTW the Super Truck has sold. The Manuals are still available.

As you can see the Chip is on hold but get in touch so I can put you on the list.

Thanks fast46triton. It's good to know some one in the "family" is happy for me! The Wife is sucking all the joy out of it.

Made my decission. Letting the IMP4 chip go. Will take the money recovered and the money saved on the re-programing fee and put some with it to get the Flip Chip when I can afford it.

Also I still have the 97 Ford shop manual set for 4.2L & 4.6L's.

The guy has not come and picked up the Super Truck so it might be back on the market soon.

See my add in the "Classy Fried's" for details.

Dear cphilip,

Understand your decision, and we wish you the best of luck. Your computer code is very common for the 1997 4.6 automatic F-150, so it should go quick. Just make sure to let anyone who is interested in it know that since it came from us, we'll still cover the warranty on it.

Good luck!
