Cool Question for Mike the chip guy??

Hey Mike thanks for all the tips you bring to this site. I may be mistaken but I'm not sure. I thought I read something about your company would cover the warranty on a chip bought from your company being sold in the classified section of this site? Am I mistaken? Money is a little tight. (new BABY boy just about here) I found the code I was looking for in the classifieds. I think the code is JPL1 (I think, have to double check) It's for a 98' XLT 4x4 w/4.6 supercab. Is this a safe purchase? ($125.00) I'd like to buy new but every diaper counts if you know what I mean. Please let me know.

Dear richgonfishn,

Yes, if the original owner purchased the Superchip from us, we will still cover the warranty for the next owner. Just get the name of the person who bought it, and roughly when they purchased it from us, and I can look that up and verify that for you, let's do that in email of course.

Used Superchips do represent a great bargain, so we do encourage their use especially if it originally came from us, as long as it's the exact same computer code. That's a good price, so I wouldn't hesitate to jump on it, as they tend to go very quickly. Just get the original buyer's name to me in email, or even give us a call if you like our number is below, and I can verify warranty coverage for you.

Good luck!

I have no regrets about buying my chip in the classifieds. The price of $150.00 was great..and Mike was extremely helpful in answering the questions I had!

Best of luck!
