Power Gains
Dear Bulk,
The gains on the 5.0 F-150 run 20 horsepower and 30 lbs./ft. of torque. So yes, you can feel it in the seat of the pants. What it should feel like is best described by saying that you'll have about 10%-12% more motor all the time, regardless of throttle position, from about 1000-1200 rpm on up.
It does *not* require a colder thermostat, nor should you ever go below 180 degrees on these computer controlled vehicles. The factory thermostat is between 192-195, and will work just fine with the Superchip.
With regards to cost, our Webmaster here has a firm policy against us discussing prices here openly on the message boards, as it crosses "the line" in terms of blatant commercialism, and I agree with this policy, of course. So if you wouldn't mind, please contact us privately either in email or by phone for our discounted price. You can also see this in our banner ad at the top of these pages, which has our online ordering system built in. You can also access our online ordering system here by typing in the URL mentioned below in my signature line. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience, but we want to respect the Webmaster's policies.
Feel free to give us a shout if you'd like all the details of wexactly what it will do for your '95 F-150 5.0, our contact info is below also.
