Cool

I'm surprised you took the time to post that you had the chip in before you took the truck for a test run. I don't think when I first put in the chip that I got back to the computer till that night

I have to agree with Tina. After I put my chip in the first thing I did was take it out to see what it did.
Man was I ever impressed.
Best $235 I spent on the truck.

Have fun with your new Superchip! You'll notice the difference, I'm quite sure.

Dear Cobra99 & Reavis,

Congratulations on your installs! You guys have fun, and please do be careful when you're out running at full-throttle checking out the new limits of your vehicles!

Also, if either of you happen to track your gas mileage, we'd love to hear back from you over time on that too. Hopefully, after you've gotten used to it and aren't using a lot of throttle checking it out anymore, you should see a small improvement in gas mileage, too.

Enjoy,

Yup, I'll be interested in that too. So far, I average about 15.5 mpg, but after terrorizing my neighborhood last night during my 'test drive' I suspect I might hurt my average a little. I'll post what I find out here.

Ooh Baby! I finally got around to my chip install and I must say, I am impressed. Not that this thing will turn your truck into a NASCAR, but there is a NOTICABLE difference, particularly at downshift. Nice, very nice. The install took me about 90 minutes, but that's because I was fumbling around a lot and I had to take out my battery to get at the 10mm bolt on the harness connector to my 'puter.
