Thumbs up Finally Ordered A Chip! One Question Inside!

Ok I have tried for two hours to get through to Mike to order a chip but I never could it was always busy. So I just ordered one through the online order form. My question is has anyone here ever used the online order form before? If so how long did it take before they called you to confirm the order? I just want to make sure there is no 48 hour delay crap like some on-line forms do.

Thanks!

Yea I got the instant E-mail reply. But the page said that they would call to confirm the order. Did they ever call you before you got the chip to confirm the order?

Also what state are you in? Hopefully it won't take long since they are in VA and I am in KY I AM EXCITED!

Ok I guess I will just call them tommorow and confirm that they recieved the order. one time a placed an on-line order through a company and never recived the merchandise. I called a week later just to be informed that they never got my order. This new technology sure still has some flaws hehe.

Dear BMW 325,

That should never happen, and certainly not *this* week, as we're never on the same line constantly for hours like that. You might want to double-check the number you dialed, my main line is (540) 862-9515, with 5 additional lines that rollover, and we're here from 10 am Eastern to 7 pm Eastern, Monday thru Friday. We have call-waiting on every line, specifically to prevent busy signals. So while it's still possible to get a busy signal late on Friday afternoons, and Monday mornings, it's very rare, and cannot happen for 2 hours uninterrupted, simply because our call load isn't heavy like it was during Christmas.

At any rate, there is no delay when you use our online ordering form. We are notified of your order, and we process it immediately, so you don't have to worry about any 48 hour delay with our online system.

It is true that with most commercial web sites, that there is normally a 1-3 day delay before orders placed online get processed, but not with us. If you place an order late on a Friday, then it won't get processed until we open again on Monday, but that's the only time there is any delay, when we're closed.

If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call, and let's hope you don't experience any more busy signals! Thanks for letting me know you had a problem with busy signals, we will have the phone company come out and double-check everything just in case. Nobody else has ever mentioned anything like this before, so this is a first. We'll check it out.

Dear BMW325,

I enjoyed speaking with you last night!

It must have been a problem on your end somehow, I'm guessing, simply because there were no calls during that specific time period we discussed. We also had the phone company check things out, and no problems were found.

Your shipment went out on time, just as you requested.

Have fun,
