Lightbulb 9100 superchips versus diablo-1/4 mile results

I will be taking my 03 f150 4x4 supercab 5.4 3.55 lsd to the track tomorrow at noon.
I went last fall with 9k miles , full tank of gas , myself-185lbs, oem towing hitch ,and side nerf bars, was 56 degrees with decent humidity-ran -16.729 @80.96mph
mods:
mac air intake
magnaflow 15609 catback
diablo sport chip
amsoil lubricants
engine ice coolant

have the 94 performance tune in my truck now and will have about 250 miles on it tomorrow.
it is supposed to be 76 degrees
i will post times tomorrow.
i currently have 16 k miles on truck now.
will have full tank of gas [ for comparison of time]

Talking times

update- looked at my time slips from last year- only had 1/4 tank of gas, this time full tank, and very bad crosswinds!
first run was with no cool down time- second run was with 2hr cool down
same track 1250' elevation
best with diablo chip 1sr run 2nd run
60'-2.395 2.359 2.316
330-6.506 6.758 6.686
1/8-10.702 10.465 10.380
mph-64.87 66.45 66.61
1000-13.961 13.670 13.578
1/4-16.729 16.414 16.322
mph-80.96 81.72 81.58
i'm still in 2nd gear as i have the 3.55's- need 4-10'S!
so even though it wasn't same day- it was hotter today- 78 degrees 1st run, 80 second run- and i had full tank of gas versus 1/4 tank-- so it dropped me .407 from diablo chip! thanks again mike!

openclasspro,

I'm very sorry to hear that. Your knowledge and enthusiasm for your truck have always been apparent in your posts. I hope you'll be able to continue to share with the forum.
I wish you luck and strength in dealing with whatever adversity you face.

Take care,
John

Unhappy I'm sorry Phil

sounds a lot like my life and life in general. When things go great, it leaves you looking over your shoulder, waiting for the next shoe to drop. Been there, done it.....but also know you can bounce back.
What John said applies from me as well. Please stay in touch.

Hi Phil,

Sorry to hear what's happening with you -

I don't know what has happened, or how it will be solved by you selling that almost brand new truck - but you do whatever you feel you have to, so if selling your truck does actually help your situation, I hope you are able to get the best possible price for it.

My wife & I have been involved in a lot of charity work for years & years now, so we've seen a lot of grief - others, as well as our own. None of that is easy to deal with, but it's all just a normal part of life. Sometimes the long-term odds just catch up with you, and you suffer a number of losses in a row - again, that's just a natural part of life.

Remember, most of our time is spent having good days, without bad news, tragedy, etc. - so when some bad event comes along, and then a few others too, in a short period of time, it can seem like you're somehow "cursed," or whatever - don't give that a thought, it's just the long-term odds of life in general catching up with you, just like they do sooner or later with just about everyone else, too - at some point in their life.

Our prayers are with you & your family,

Hi Phil,

Understood - and yes, if anyone wants to buy your 9100 from you, we *can* reprogram it for another vehicle - there will be a fee for us to do that of course, as in the 9100 it's all custom tuning, so it's not like just reflashing a chip. But that fee will still be far less than the cost of a new 9100.

One other thing - the programs in your 9100 will work on any other LGA2-code 2003 5.4 truck right now without any changes, as long as the next LGA2-code truck doesn't have mods like a changed MAF or anything else that requires custom engine tuning compensations (if they do, we can update it with any custom tuning needed, or tune it for a completely different vehicle altogether - we can reprogram it to work on *any* 1996 thru 2003 FoMoCo vehicle with the EEC-V PCM, gas engine or diesel.

Last - LGA2 is a very common code for 2003 5.4 automatic F-150's, so there are *tons* of them out there.

Good luck,

I'm kinda new to this but I would definately be interested in buying it if it can be 1) reprogrammed for my truck 2) Is cheaper than the Troyer I was going to buy (http://www.troyerperformance.com/cgi...catalogno=1100)

My truck is a 98 ext. cab manual 4.6L computer code FLL2

my email is munswort@wnec.edu
