Oh man! I heard that when you send that thing in the gubmint was implanting gps based speed/position sensors. They then mail you the speeding tickets. Superchips is a code word for Super = federal and chips is the highway patrol. Neal you are in trouble now!

Neal,

Didn't Mike tell you? The gains are reversed as soon as they cross the border .. something like the devalued Canadian dollar.

You guys are too much! You're going to give poor old Neal there a heart attack!

It's about time Neal sent it in!

Seriously, I'm glad you finally got a chance to get it taken care of, Neal. You'll finally get a chance to see what everyone is talking about first hand.

Enjoy,

Hey Neal,

Just hope Hurricane Floyd doesn't get to SuperChips! I have a chip there as well being worked on for a transmission shifting situation, so I guess we're in the same boat...or may need one to get to Longwood if worse comes to worse....

Maybe we've both lucked out and our stuff got shipped before half of the state bailed out for higher ground (one can only hope).

Mike T., is that storm headed your way? Hope things don't get too bad for anyone along the coast...

Mike,

Y'all be careful up there when Floyd blows ashore. Let us know how you fare, hopefully not too badly.

Glad to hear Orlando/Longwood apparently dodged a bullet. Let's just hope that monster weakens before it gets to the Carolinas and your way.

Batten down the hatches!

I saw the traffic on the news and cars were lined up for miles trying to get out of the way of that storm. One lady said she had gone 16 miles in 2 hours.

Even my Superchip would not help.

Yes, and Superchips is closed Tuesday and today, Wednesday, because they are in the Orlando, Florida area, so they were right in the path for awhile. Luckily, as it turns out Orlando wasn't wiped out, but they did close Disney World for the first time ever due to weather, and Superchips is just about 10 miles up the road from them!

The path of the hurricane has already caused rains to start here in the mountains of Virginia, and they are currently calling for 6-8 inches of rain. This is on top of the 6 inches of rain we just got from Hurricane Dennis, so we do expect serious flooding in this area. If you guys don't see me here for a few days, you'll know what happened! We're in one of the higher areas, but flooding anywhere near here affects everyone, roads closed, rock slides, etc. So it may get hairy around here over the next coupla days!

Superchips did work on Monday of course, but they closed by 10am on Tuesday due to the hurricane. They expect to re-open tomorrow morning, Thursday.

Wish us luck with the hurricane,

We were spared!!!!

The hurricane's rains missed us by 8-10 miles, literally. They were calling for us to get 10-12 inches of rain just a few hours before it reached here, up from previous estimates, so we really thought this was going to be serious. A lot of Interstate 64 was closed, and my hometown of Virginia Beach got slammed pretty hard. But we got very lucky, and ended up getting *maybe* a couple inches of rain, a little bit of wind, and that's it!

TEllenberger, you're right, even a Superchip wouldn't have helped anyone who was stuck in those traffic jams, it happened here in VA too!

Don't have a boat. I was wishing we did have one for a day or so there!

Neal, Superchips got your computer and did the work on time, and sent it back out for overnight delivery to your friend as you requested. UPS's system has been down most of today, and consequently they cannot tell us status of any shipments at this moment. So I do not know if the hurricane's after-effects are going to delay your overnight shipment, and unfortunately I guess we won't know until your buddy lets you know if he got it today or not. I've got my fingers crossed for you, so you'll have it for tomorrow's fun! Damned hurricanes!

Hope everyone else made out OK from the hurricane,
