Just got my superchip and I encountered the infamous jumper problem. This was easy to solve. Superchip has a web site showing u where u to to establish jumpers. http://www.superchips.com/jumper.htm. The whole process, taking out the ecm and going to TV repair shop to have a professional do the delicate work, took about 1 hour. How incredibly easy. Just wanted to share my experience with all of u.

Say, thanks a *MILLION* for posting that URL. Heck, even *I* didn't know they had it up yet. I confess that I don't get a chance to look at the entire web site very often, so I don't know how long that's been there, but it sure is handy for anyone who needs the info 24 hrs. a day!

You're right about it being such an easy fix, it's usually just a drop of solder. Thanks for your insight!

That URL shows the several different boards that are affected by this jumper configuration, and you can easily identify which board you have by looking at it and comparing it to the photos there at that URL.
