IM BACK!!
I'm in Wilmington NC. A truly beautiful town on the coast, about an hour north of Myrtle Beach SC and an hour south of Camp LeJeune(USMC) Sometime during this month though there is a hugh neon sign out in the Atlantic Ocean pointing this way, that will be turned on so the hurricanes know where to hit. And that's when the 4x4's really get to show their stuff around here, after a hurricane they are the only vehicals moving. It's fun though.
Conqsoft,
nice web site, love the truck, especially the photo album, great idea with all the shots of the modifications, I'll have to try that on my site.
Fastriton46, Glad to have ya back safe and sound. Your vacation sounded great! Thank you so much for the posting of my truck on your web site.
I just love this picture. (sorry, call me vain!)

I just got back from vacation. Nashville to Ohio to Michigan. Stopped by Kings Island - It was a fun day, especially for the kids. I've also been to Ceder Pointe about 20 years ago.
I must say Ohio is ok.

Frank S,
That's what's so great about this country. If you don't like where you're at, you can move. I was born in Indiana, but always liked the ocean (Sea Hunt I guess). So I moved to Florida 28 years ago after getting married ( yes, Raoul, I took my wife with me and she is still with me. NO, not locked in the closet). As Tina said, there are positives and negatives about all states.

Tina,
Id like to talk to you about areas in NC as I am not from around there and have a few questions. If you wouldn't mind, could I email you about it?

StrangeRanger,
No offfense intended. I made that post with my g-friend sitting in the room and I say those things just to get at her. AS a matter of fact I forgot I posted it. I did not hate Ohio but when I was up there it was hotter than 400 hells and no one we stayed with had any AC. Also I used to work for a lot of SNOWBIRDS form Ohio and their "Fl. would not exist if it weren't for SNOWBIRDS" attitude put a bad taste in my mouth before I went.
The truth is I REALLY HATE Florida. I am originally from GA. but was brought down here at age 4. I would be in GA. now if the people weren't so cheap in my business. So let me highlight some of the negative aspects of Fl.
1) 90% of the people are totally crazy
2) about 40% of the city I live in are scumbags (criminals, etc.)
3) the State government absolutely blows
4) anything else that can go wrong when people from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan are in the same State as people form New York (more specifically Long Island and the city), New Jersey, and all of New England.
I do love the climate and the off season though.
I took my Explorer in to a dealer in New Philadelphia (Humphries, I think) and got top notch service. There were a lot of very nice people in Ohio and like I said before it is a beautiful state but it was hot and a little on the boring side for me.

Raoul,
Neither. Just the murder capitol of NC. I'm going to be in Rocky Mount until a good job offer comes through. I've got one in Wilmington Delaware, and one in Raleigh NC that I'm looking at right now.
cableguy,
Thanks. I was thinking about adding an "owners' gallery" on my site, but so many other people already have it I decided against it.

Seems like everyone wants move to NC,
I could see Conqsoft moving here to RALEIGH, he has the background in computers and this is the place.Conqsoft also said Charlotte was the murder capital of NC, he's right with the exception of Durham, population VS murders, they win, with Fayetteville a close second.
I will say that anyone that is A "blue collar" worker, forget Raleigh and Wilmington, they hate unions and the pay sucks.NC is a right to work state, but the murder capital of NC has more union work than any other city in NC.
SO take it for what it is worth......I've worked both sides of the fence... DogCam (Garner,NC)
