Troyer Performance has Superchips Custom Tuning for the 2004 Ford F-150 w/3-valve 5.4 Engine .
I sent off my PCM for this tuning on Monday. I should get it back tomorrow. I'll post feedback after I've had a chance to drive with this tune for a few days.
As far as I know, this is the only available performance tune for the 2004 F150 5.4 3v.

"JohnAndDar's" response is right on the money - we are currently the only people able to do proper tuning for the CAN-equipped 2004 F-150 with the 3-valve 300HP 5.4 engine. We've been tuning them for some time now, got that R&D wrapped up just before Christmas.
You can read the link the last poster provided that takes you right to our web site & will give you all the details. You can also use the search feature here to retrieve & read any of our many previous posts on the results of that tuning, as we've posted a lot of details about that here over the past few months.
And of course, to go over this in detail, please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below, & we can spend some time with you going over all of the specifics.
There is plenty of room for improvement in the 2004 F-150's performance, from tuning to other modifications as well. We already have performance packages available for them that will wake them and their sluggish throttle response & show-shifting automatics right up! Right now just our Stage 1 kit is listed on our web site's Performance Packages section, but we also have another package that will be posted there soon, that is available right now - it's designed to maximize throttle response, which is precisely what these throttle-by-wire 2004 3-valve 5.4 F-150's need.
