Torque reduction ?

Mike,

Does the Microtuner, old one without tunes for pullies, remove the torque reduction in the Lightning (2002)? If you want to get to the stock line pressure for the shifts, which setting do you use? Thanks again for all of your answers!

Hi War Eagle,

Yes, it does remove the torque reduction in the Micro Tuner.
In the Lightnings, the tranny shift pressures tend to work a bit differently than they do in the non-Lightning F-150's - for example, to make the Lightning shift significantly softer, you have to go in an manually back the shift pressure all the way down to the minimum.

If you would like to go over the torque reduction, shift points, pressures, etc. in detail for that Lightning, give me a call - we've done a lot of testing & can go over all of that with you, if you like.

Have fun!
