Thumbs up Just ordered Superchip

This is my first post here. I have been lurking for some time and have gotten some very good information. I just got my 2002 Supercrew on November 1, 2003. I have learned of several aftermarkets I would like to do and have ordered two of them from Troyer Performance. The superchip 1715 and Airforce one ait intake. Can't wait 'til they get here. I am also planning to add the Magnaflow cat-back system soon. Glad to be here and hope to lern much more.

Just found out I got a call at home from Troyer to inform me that I could get these items at a significantly cheaper price. I had ordered them separately because I had not looked at Troyer's whole web page because I found the items I needed. As it turns out you can get both of these items in a package for $62 less than seperate. What a company to do business with, going out of their way to let me know I can save money. Kudos, Kudos, Kudos Troyer!!!!

Congradulations on the purchase. Troyer Performance is a great company to deal with, not only will they sell you great mods for your truck, they are there to back up everything they sell. I have bought many mods from them.

Rick

Hey Mike, and the Troyer Products gang. Thanks for my last 2 mods the pulley's and electric fan kit.

Hi twoshots,

Nice to see your post - I was in bed trying to get over the flu when one of our staff let me know that someone (as it turns out, you) had ordered those 2 parts separately instead of ordering them under the combo deal - so I told them to contact you to let you know about the combo deal so you could get the best price for buying both parts at the same time - that's how the deal went down.

We realize that people in general aren't going to be as familiar with our web site as we are, so we do our best to catch those kinds of things & make sure our customers get the best pricing - I'm glad it worked out for you!

Have fun with your new go-fast goodies, & thanks very much for your post!

Thumbs up

You're very welcome, Mike. Your company deserves all of the good commemts it gets here. I tend to be very loyal to a company that looks out for it's customers like you do. Can't wait to get my goodies. I will retire on January 30, 2004 and I have lots of places to tow my boat to after that. These goodies will just make it that much better. Jon

Hi Jon,

I must have missed this post...............

So you're retiring the end of this month? Congratulations!!!

Hopefully that'll give you plenty of time to tow that boat all over the place & enjoy the fruits of all those years of labor - good for you, I wish my wife & I could do the same!

I notice you also have a 7.3L PSD there - you've probably already done this by now, but just in case...................the Micro Tuner for those 7.3L PSD's can add up to 110 HP and some nice fuel mileage gains as well - just FYI.

Have fun enjoying your retirement Jon, & we hope to see you here when you can drop by!

Hi Rick & everyone,

Good to see you again, Rick - thanks for your post. As you know, I'm a big fan of knocking down those parasitic losses, as it not only gets you some very nice power gains to the rear wheels, but it also helps fuel mileage - a nice win-win combo that we do to all our vehicles as well.

rbraughn - you're right, if you really get bit by the mod bug, it's never-ending. And to do our part in helping to encourage this madness, we're always adding more and more parts - just call us evil.

Thanks for your support gentlemen, & have a great 2004!

Hi Jon,

Funny how you ordered it green, all the paperwork said green, but it arrived black - I don't think I remember ever hearing that happen before. I have seen other configuration errors on ordered vehicles form time to time (pretty rare overall), but I don't remember someone getting the wrong color when all the paperwork including the window sticker had the correct color before - how odd. Glad you like the black!

I've only had 2 black cars, and they were both Lincoln Mark 8's - only because black is simply *the* color for those cars - and it was a huge pain to maintain, but for those willing to put the work into keeping black vehicles up, they are absolutely beautiful & very classy - I almost wish our 2004 F-150 was black.

Have fun,
