2004 Throttle Responce & Front Leveling Kit
2004 Throttle Responce & Front Leveling Kit
Hey everyone,
I just bought a 2004 FX4 Supercab w/5.4
My feelings on the new truck are VERY mixed considering I traded in my 2002 F250 V10 (Best vehicle i've ever owned).
I was wondering if there is a cure for the throttle delay, i'm really having a hard time getting used to it. Also the stance of the truck is that of a Dodge. I have seen some leveling kits that raise the front 2". Has anyone installed one yet? If so what are your thoughts & how did the installation go?
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,
On the throttle response, give us a call & I can go over that with you in some detail - some of it you will get used to, while other aspects of that we can help quite a bit with performance tuning - we've done it on our 2004 5.4 F-150 and picked up over 24 HP & over 40 lbs./ft. of torque at the rear wheels, as well as removing the top speed limiter, firm up the transmission shifting, etc.
Our number is listed below for your convenience - good luck with your 2004 & don't worry, you'll learn to live with the ETC, especially if you have us tune it for you.
