Mama wants the 1715 program back - now!
De-tuned back to stock over the weekend because truck wouldn't start / idle. Just wanted to eliminate the Tuner as a suspect. Turns out it was the IAC which I cleaned and it fixed the idle problem. I was a little rushed so didn't re-tune with the 1715 and just left it on stock.
Wife called from her cell phone while running around town today demanding "whatever switch you turned off on my truck you need to turn it back on. This thing has no power, I'm just putt, putting around!". I was ROFL, as my wife is not the nascar racer type at all.
Needless to say, will be getting the Tuner program loaded back in there asap cause 'mama ain't happy'...

Hi 4X,
That's hilarious when a non car-type wife can tell the difference!
My wife is the same way in that she was not by nature really interested in cars - she has always liked sharp looking & fast cars, but really didn't care much about it - until she met me. These days she too, can immediately tell the difference if we've made a tuning change, so if we take something out of her vehicle, she isn't happy either - welcome to the club!
These are the *best* kinds of wives for us hot-rodders to have, as if *they* feel the need more performance, then we don't have to fight quite as hard to get our modifications money.
Thanks for your post & good luck!
