more power!!
I've got a 03' F250 4X4 5.4 that I would like to get a bit more ***** from- seems like it boggs a bit- I'm looking into the superchip micro tuner but they don't advertise it for the 03', only up to 02'. Any experience with these, will they work on the 03'- how about any other suggestions?? I have a KNN filter- and that's aboout all I've done to her- she's all stock. Any suggestions would be great-

Actually, the *real* deal is that Superchips, at our urging & with our assistance in getting a lot of the new codes, has been adding in 2003 codes ever since last October (2002). And every since last October, anyone with a 2003 that wants a Micro Tuner we've been delivering them, no problem! And you can get one for your 2003 right now, you can order it right from our web site at www.TroyerPerformance.com
To get a good idea of the various types of modifications & things that can be done to improve the performance of your 2003 F-250, as well as look over the #1715 Micro Tuner for your truck, please take a look over on our web site at www.TroyerPerformance.com - Click on "Shop" when the home page loads, and then to get started, I'd suggest spending some time reading up in our "Performance Packages" section for "F-150's, Expedition, etc." - in there you will see everything from our mild Stage 1 kits to our wild Stage 5 kits, and reading the details on those packages will give you an *excellent* idea of exactly what kinds of things need to be done to improve your performance at various levels.
Then there are of course all the individual sections on our site, such as Exhaust, Intake, Tuning (Superchips), Ignition, etc. that you can look thru as well, but I'd start in the Performance Packages section, as there you'll get an excellent overview of all kinds of modifications & parts to use to get to various power/performance levels.
Most people just want "more power," and don't really have a specific goal in terms of performance level or power levels - they just want more power for the typical daily driver/occasional tow vehicle uses that are so typical for these trucks. We can handle any performance needs & desires anyone may have for their Ford truck or SUV, as we do everything from better towing performance to actual drag strip performance and anything in between. Air filters to superchargers, wee do it all, and we can also help fuel mileage on these vehicles, too.
Just to give you a quick rough idea of the basic order of best "bang for the buck," the first few things to do would be to have your powertrain programming optimized with the Micro Tuner, then open up the restriction in the air intake tract with a good intake kit, and then open up exhaust restriction with a good cat-back exhaust system. From there it's on to things like electric fans, underdrive pulleys, larger throttle bodys & MAF's, headers, and on and on, it never stops...............we have all of this over on our web site, of course.
