The question is, if The micro tuner no longer can be used because of mods. Can it be sold and the person buying it have it reset for a fee like a chip?

The microtuner is a one vehicle at a time device. When you upload the stock program back to your vehicle, the microtuner is then free to be used on another vehicle. No reburn or such thing is necessary.

 

Hi EVO,

No fee needed, no reset needed.

Once you return the vehicle back to stock by plugging the Micro Tuner back in, that process *automatically* unlocks the Micro Tuner so it can then be used to tune another different vehicle, with no need to send it in to be reset or pay a fee, etc.

So just return your vehicle back to stock using the Micro Tuner & then it's ready for you to sell it to the next owner, very easy!
