I contacted ITS (Innovative Turbo Systems) in Dayton, OH concerning them needing a 5.4L to do a prototype turbo system on! They said they'd like to use my truck! I may need to contact you about some parts in the near future! Thought I'd tell you since I was rolling around the idea in my head... looks like it may go through now!

Hi Flea,
The Innovative Turbo Systems that I know is out in Simi Valley, CA. I don't think I know the people you're talking about specifically.
However, any really competent turbo fabrication shop (that can do more than ricers) can make a custom turbocharger setup for these trucks. It's a good bit of work to properly R&D of course, more than just a matter of the plumbing, which in itself is a significant amount of work to really optimize. What size turbos to use, what configuration for best throttle response & all-out power, powertrain mgmt., etc. It's certainly doable if you've got a high quality & well experienced shop, & we'd love to see a really good twin turbo kit keeping power down low enough so the stock engine can handle it long-term, but with enough capacity in the turbos to crank up the boost for a built motor. A nice pair of hybrids would do the job.
Thanks for letting me know & good luck with your project. Give me a call to go over the exact details if you like!
