Liquid Glass Pics

Hey all,

I just got through a gruelling day doing some detailing.
Although I'm far from finished, I thought I'd post some pics of the progress so far.

This is what I did:
* Hand wash with Dawn
* Wash again with Liquid Glass Car Wash Soap, & Towel Dry
* Mother's Clay Bar Kit
* Liquid Glass Pre-Cleaner
* Liquid Glass Polish

I'm keeping it garaged until I can apply 3 more coats of LG, and then a coat of Mag Gold (sigh) This takes forever!

The LG goes on and buffs out easy.
Hopefully after a few more coats, the shine will look richer.

Here's a few pics for now

liquid glass

Is liquid glass a wax or polish? Do they make a mist-n-shine product, you know like a spray and wipe quick detailer? Where can i get liquid glass-autozone?

Hi Green,

LG is a polish.
I don't believe they make a 'spray and wipe' type of treatment.
I bought it from
http://www.liquidglass.com/

LG is a wax.

It does not contain any abrasives. I talked to liquid glass and they said it contains mild chemical cleaners.

Ok, I'm guessing Intel & I were both wrong.

I emailed LG and asked them a simple question:
"Is LG a polish, or a wax?"

They just replied to my email:

"Dear Alex:

Technically, Liquid Glass Polish/Finish is neither a polish or a wax. A polish by definition contains abrasives. Liquid Glass Polish/Finish contains no abrasives or cleaners.

The unique carbon based formula also contains no wax. The Product will seal and protect while offering outstanding durability that is superior to any wax product.

Thank you for your e-mail.

Sincerely,
Michael Trueba Jr."

So I dunno what it is, all I know is that it's really shiny and silky smooooth, lol

Email them back and ask why their bottles say "Mild inert Cleaning agents" There older bottles had something like microscopic abrasives or something like that.

Edit: Grrr I can't get my digi cam to take a picture of the words in focus. There on the side of the can

All I know is I posed the question to Liquid Glass directly, and that's their answer.

If it's not a polish, or a wax, then what the heck is it?

That is the problem with talking to liquid glass. They don't give you a straight up answer. They always try to lay this marketing crap on you.

The pics I posted showed the truck with 1 coat of LG,
I've since added 3 more coats, and the result is vastly improved.
I will post some updated pics soon as I get some new batteries for my digi.
