Thumbs down Windows cracked and it rained

i left my windows cracked and it rain REALLY HARD...my seats and carpet got wet....i used a wet/dry vac and got most of the water up...how can i keep from it smelling and mildewing..im more worried about the foam in the seats than anything....i hooked up a fan to try and dry it out...any other suggestions..thanks

My suggestion would be a dehumidifier plugged up, in your vehicle, with the doors closed (window slightly cracked). I think it'll do the trick.

You can rent dehumidifiers at most 'rental' shops.

As long as you keep the fans in your truck going, then it shouldn't be a problem.

I've gotten seats pretty wet in the past trying to get all the dirt and stains out of them and have never had a problem. I just get all the doors open and have fans going through.

Using the wet/dry vac on the seats probably got a good amount of the water out. You could even go out and squeeze the seats with a towel to soak up some more water.

Keep the fans blowing in your truck and it won't be a problem.

IF you get the mildew stain, then have an ozone machine run in your truck for awhile. It'll kill the mildew.
