I want to buy some paint that is the same code as my truck, but I would like to find it in like a pint or quart. I have an airbrush and would like to paint door handles and such, but I dont want to spray can it. Can I order through any parts stores or is a dealer thing. Also, anyone ever paint their plastic peices of the front bumper. Did you have to use a flexing agent so it wouldnt crack.

Get it at an auto paint supply shop, an auto body shop, or perhaps your dealer. Just tell them the code on your door. Don't be surprised if it's over $60.00-$80.00 per quart.

 

Looks better if you by the handle at the dealer already itwill save a lot of headaches is what I did on my 97 F150 bright red

 

I would get it from the dealer. I had my bedcover painted at a bodyshop and they had a heck of a time trying to match the metallic flakes. They still didn't get it right. The metallic particles in the bedcover are larger than the ones in the factory applied paint.
