Angry Stone Chips

I am not naming names. Any way I have 02 in Toreodor red. I loaned my truck out to some one and they used it to haul a load of landscape rocks, and dumped some rocks over the back of the tailgate and I have a bunch of small stone chips about the size of a pencil tip fairly deep. What is the best way to fix short of getting the tail gate repainted?

Thanks Kirt

Don't think there is any way to fix deep pits without having to paint. I have a lot of chipped paint on my front bumper and hood from rocks on the freeway. I am debating on whether or not to re-paint them or not...

You can take a small tipped paint brush or a cigarrette filter tip works pretty well and dab the paint on the chip. This will make it look better for the time being as it won't be so noticeable from a distance.

Go to the your local hobby shop and get some "microbrushes". These are tiny disposable brushes that are made of plastic and have a small tuft of micrfiber" at the tip. They come in different grades. I have used them for paint touch ups over a year now, they're great!
