Please Help!--> Which order?

So, i posted a thread called water marks and got lots of good replies, (thanks to all), i have purchased i think most of the products i should need...no what order to use them in?

1. wash truck
2. paint cleaner
3. Mother's Clay bar
4. Meguire's wax
5. Meguires polish

is this right? any other order or different products to use? any help is always appreciated!

TIA--------> medic

p.s.- although i bought the Mothers clay bar, i am a Meguires fan and woul like to stick with their product line.

Looks like you just need to switch around the last two. I'm not sure if you really need to use the paint cleaner and the clay bar. I would just usee the clay bar, but some may feel differently about it.

Yhea,

1. Wash truck w/ dawn (strip old wax)
2. Clay truck
3. Paint cleaner
4. MEGUIARS's Polish
5. Meguiar's Wax

I like to use the paint cleaner after the wax because it'll remove any clay streaks you had. Plus you'll be able able to see what is actually paint staining and what isn't since the clay will remove a lot.

Just do the dawn wash when you plan to wax. Other times you'll have to use carwash. Dawn strips wax, that is the reason why they tell you not to use dishsoap to wash your car.
