If your looking for a great car "wax" try Der Shiney Stuff. It's a silly name but works like a dream. It's plastic polymer based and used on aircraft. I use it twice a year, it goes on wet, in the sun, and takes about fifteen min to do my entire truck. You can use it on glass and won't leave white on any of the black or rubber.
My truck looks as good as the day I bought it. Works for me!
