This is the closest place I could find to put this post...

I have a '01 with solid rear glass, but would rather have the sliding glass. I have a buddy who has an '02 with sliding rear glass who would rather have the solid.

Can we switch them out without any modifications on either truck?

Anybody with comments who have experienced this is appreciated.

 

Your best chance is if they are both super cabs. At one time the standard cab and super cabs had two different heights in glass. There should not be much difference between the '01 and '02 glass for the same body style. The problem will most likely be not destroying the glass getting it out of the body opening.

I had not considered the Regular cab vs. Ext. cab, but his is an extended cab, too.

We'll see if we can do this without breaking either one...
