Unhappy After waxing...

After waxing my truck, I always notice that it draws dust and dirt soon after you wax it. You go through hell waxing it, when your done you step back to admire the shiny luster, and then a day goes by, WHAMMO!!! Dust and dirt everywhere!!! How do you keep the shine? Any answers?

get a california car duster, they rock for dust. It's not that wax attracts the dust the dust is always there you just notice it when its freshly waxed.
At least your wax only attracts dust, mine attracts rain ands ometimes even snow! LOL

Mine attracts birds. Birds that apparently eat All-Bran for breakfast

LOL our trucks must be brothers then. Mine does too.

Mine also seems to attract leaves. Everything covered with leaves when I wake up. All over the hood, roof, bedcover. I don't even park it under a tree.

Big ditto for that Californy Duster. Be sure to get the "original" -- it's got a wood handle. I try to dust mine at dusk, before the dew falls. That may not be an issue to some parts of the country. I also keep a squirt bottle of Meguiar's "Final Inspection" (the WaxShop makes a similar product) and a clean cotton diaper on hand for that occasional spot job: bird dook, the odd puddle splats, etc. It also repels dust and maintains the wax shield a little longer. Did you also get your clay bar yet? Check this out:

There are similar products on the market, but I prefer this one.

No offense meant but, on the contrary, wax DOES attract dust. A freshly waxed vehicle has static build up and will attract more dust particles than a car without wax. And... like you said, you notice it more.
