I personally would recomend you go to a body shop instead of the dealer. I worked at my dads body shop for years and guess who did all of the dealerships paint jobs. Us. They will just charge you up the A$$ for something they may not even do themselves.
just my.02 cents.

Cool Bodyshop, but qualified

There are good shops and bad shops, just like any other businesses.

Look for shops that display the I-Car symbol, either the Silver or the Gold. These shops have invested in the latest training and equipment and use quality paint material.

Another is seek out shops that use a major brand of paint material as many offer long term, no charge warranties for the work that are backed by the supplier.

Two that have the programs are PPG and DuPont.

These companies require the painters to attend extensive training courses, are tested and certified vs the back alley, "I shoot all the hot rods in town, " shops.

Big difference in what you will need to make your paint last, on a daily driver exposed to the elements, enviormental contaminate and that of a "trailer queen" that sits in a garage most of it's life, never sees rain, snow, salt etc.
