LowRiderHD2000,

You really need to try a California Duster for dust, you'll be surprised how little effort it takes to take a layer of dust off without harming your paint, they are great..about the only other product that I know of besides these that does exactly what it claims is RainX

I wash mine every day and would recommend that others do the same. Especially if you own the CarWash like I do.

I have heard good things about the California Duster. I will probobly look in to that. Would save me about $25 in car washes a week.

I try to wash mine twice a month. Have some tree sap on the hood. How do you get that off?

I also got some scratches on the tailgate. Some go down to metal others are just into the clear coat. How would i repair that?

I try to wax it once every two months. I've been using turtle wax and just got a bottle of the 3M Liquid Wax but haven't tried it out yet. Is the 3m stuff any good? What do you use?

Every time it gets dirty, or dusty (this is over spring/summer, winter its impossible to keep clean up here). I'd say avg. 2-3 times a week, and when I see that it's gonna be nice for a few days in a row, it gets cleaned inside out, engine, underbody, not a speck of dirt left, i'll spend up to 3 hours after work sometimes.

Oh yeah gets either washed or cleaned in someway every Wed. over the summer for when everybody brings their modded/hooked up trucks cars out that nite.

I wash mine once a week, usally Monday, or Wednesday night. I wax it every two weeks. When the weather is really nice, I dust it twice a day, and towel it off. This does a great job of keepin the truck clean all through the week. No dust here. I dunno, they say I have the cleanest black truck in town, I sure work hard on it.

I have Black SuperCrew and I used to handwash it every weekend, whether it was dirty or not. I haven't waxed my truck myself. It takes me only 10 minutes for the wash and it takes me about 1 1/2 hour for the drying and polishing

Lately, I found a good car wash in my area and I take it there at least once a month.

I love having the wet look on a black truck. It definitely turns heads when I go side by side on stop lights. Even more dramatic is when I park it on the movie theater parking lot under some neon lights, then people actually walked up to it to have a closer look

yes, black is best :-) I just started the Zaino process today -- clayed the whole truck, then washed with Z7, applied Z1, Z5, and Z6. took most of the day but it was well worth it. the truck looks sweet! can't wait to get a couple more coats of z5/6 on there. also used Z9 and Z10 on the leather, cleaned well and smells good.

can anyone recommend a good glass cleaner? I have some stubborn water spots on my windshield.

I'm going to have to take some new pictures, the ones on my site don't do the truck justice anymore! :-)
