I wash about 2 times a week if it needs it or not[kinda like taking baths when i was a kid lol] wax 4 times a year. Its in the garage most of the time so a ca duster is the trick between washings. armorall tire shine to blacken the tires, just be sure to wipe of the rims. black is a beautiful thing, gotta keep it clean

I have to ask...

What in the he!! do you people do for a living that you have this much time on your hands? And where does the line form for these jobs?

For me, if any of my vehicles get washed more than once every one to two months, its a miracle.

I think most of us "make" time for truck cleaning My front wheels never get more than a "dusting" of brake buildup. I usually wipe it off before it gets too noticeable. I hate to think that someone would see me driving a filthy truck, looks SO good when it's clean,,,,,98

I wash my Expy every once or twice a week depending on how dirty she gets (garage kept)

In the summer time I wax it 3 or 4 times with Meguires.
Inside all gets cleaned and detailed.

The engine also gets detailed

In the winter I take to a hand car washes

My Expy always gets cleaned when going to a wedding, roadtrip

My Expy is the cleanest SUV in my NJ

My truck stays fairly clean, exept for the bugs on the front, mirrors, and windsheild. Normally I wash and detail it on Sunday's. Do youall spray any thing under the truck. I usually spray WD-40 on the axle, so it looks clean. under the hood, the black plastic trim (such as the intake cover ) peices are not shiny, would it be a hazzard to put armorall on the peices. dont know it it would catch on fire or not???

These pics of my truck after a week of driving and 500 miles later.
I will have new pics after I wash the truck.

Thumbs up

When I detail my engine a few times a year, I douse the whole compartment with tire dressing(silicone). I do wipe off the excess where I can reach it. I haven't had a fire yet I'll have to try the WD-40 trick on the axle, sounds harmless enough. Thanks PhillipSVT!,,,,98

Yeah, I wash my Screw once a week. Probably will wax once every couple of months. But I am RELIGIOUS about my California Car Duster! I own a True Blue 2002 and dust it every day, sometimes 3-4 times a day! Love it! Takes 60 seconds. And if your like me, it takes 3-4 hours during my weekly wash! If you haven't tried you just don't know!

man, this is an old thread

i wash every week and a half to two weeks, and use liquid glass and clean teh interior every 2 months in the off-show season.

During car show season, i wash it before every show, and glass it before every show, so that like every week to every other week. And i do the engine compartment and underbody before every judged show.

and i use the cali duster every day, sometimes up to 3 or 4 times a day throughout the year

Hey Harley#356... Your gonna wash the paint off your truck man! J/K. But I have to admit, I'd keep my truck spotless too if I put it in shows and stuff." "

I'm gonna wash the paint off my truck? did you read the posts of these guys that wash it just about every day

but personally i think it works just as well to wash it every week or 2 weeks, keep a good coat of wax/polish/whatever you use on it, and use a cali duster every day, rather than washing it every day, quicker too, but thats just IMO
