Question Windshield Sun Shade?

Howdy,

Has anyone found a particular windshield sun-shade that fits the current generation F-Series truck glass (size and shape) right? Seems like I have seen ads in the past about custom made sun-screens, but I cannot come up with it. Everything I have found at the autoparts store blows.

Thanks

Check out LUND, they make a couple of models, some with running lights and some without.

That's not what he's asking for. He's asking about the shade you put in your window to keep the sun from fading your dash and etc. I have the two-color one. Looks like foil on one side , colored foil on the other. It's jumbo size. Doesn't fit that bad, could be better. Can't even remember the name of it.

Is there any company out there that makes custom shades? Thinking maybe a business opportunity here being missed. Hard to believe there isn't one. I'm looking for a good fitting sunshade as well.

Had one made for a vette a few years ago, but cannot find my old literature. I'll do an internet search tonight and see what I come up with. If I find something on this subject I'll post.

You da man Scooby!

I went straight there and ordered it! Indeed a bit pricey at $49.00 to my door, but this is what I've been looking for.

Wifey will just have to for-go a night out or two for dinner....

Thanks again bro,

Reid

Dittoes on that Scooby....Thank you for that....now, could you get Borla to make a SI/DO that goes split side and not out the rear? I found out I can't use it on my truck without having special bends put in the straight back pipes because of my bolted on hitch......sigh......so depressed...was planning on ordering it tonite with the sale ending at truckperformance.com

Reid:

Sugarland Texas huh? I met a couple of guys a few months ago in Arkansas picking up a rescue truck for Sugarland Fire Department.

Looked at some pictures they had of the town and area, nice place it appears.

Glad I could help. Let me know how it fits, I wanna order one also.

Thumbs up

I just recently purchased an Eclipse sunshade from a local tint shop for $44 including trimming and fitting. It works and fits good. I also saw it at www.dashguard.com/sunshade.html
