Can you polish out scratches in side mirrors of a 2013 F150?

You can try whitening toothpaste or Brasso.

There are actually three surface types on your mirror assemblies:

1) The glass mirror itself
2) The painted caps
3) The black textured plastic

Where exactly are your scratches?

The scratches are on the mirror itself. It looks like there is an anti-glare coating and these scratches are in the coating.

If the scratches are in the coating, they cannot be removed. The only way to fix it is remove the coating. How you remove the coating depends on whether it's on glass or plastic.

Time for a new mirror. As I recall, one can buy just the glass / reflective part and install it. Having done this twice, I can tell you there is apparently a trick to it. (The first time I broke it.)

^^^^ Yep it's time for new mirror pieces. I tried just about every paste, wax, buffer under the sun on a Jeep and ended up just replacing the reflective portion. Like 2stroked said, it can be a pain - I let the glass shop do it.
