There are several brands of "wadding" on the market to use. These are mainly used when there is oxidation, stains etc. If your tips are in good condition I would use a GOOD quality polymer wax type protectant. Regular wax will not stand up to the heat. Use either KLASSE, ZAINO or Meguiars #20. Meguiars will probably be easier to find in autobody suppliers/ paint suppliers. You can find the other products @ www.zainobros.com for ZAINO, or www.autopia-carcare.com for KLASSE. For locations of autobody suppliers, go to www.3m.com , use the dealer locator. Those places usually carry all Meguairs products. The Meguiars is plentiful, but sometimes the #20 is hard to find.
