Wow!

I decided to wash my truck today, and when I was done I thought I would go ahead and wax it. Went to Pep Boys, and was talked into getting the Mothers Clay Bar. So I did the bar, then washed again, then applied a carnuba wax. My arm hurts but it sure looks good.

Talking

This weekend I did the same on my truck. It acutally took like 8 hours but wow!!what a difference. I went by pepboys and spent like $40 on towells, meguires cleaner, meguires polish, and zymol wax. I have never polished, only waxed and have also never used side to side strokes. My truck was pretty heavy on swirrl marks and non reflective and had a rough surface. Now it looks actully better than some brand new trucks.

Thanks to everyone for the feed back that conviced me to go with these products.

Now if I could just figure out how to get the sap off!!!!AARRGGGGG!!!

WD-40 will take it off or some suntan lotion will work also.

Nice looking truck! I like the wheels. I intended to do the same thing last weekend. The weather looked like it wasn't going to cooperate and I skipped the clay bar. I guess I'm forced to do it this weekend now.

the ones i got are the vent visor, and they fit on the rubber strip right above the mindow, but the ones i bought for our expedition fir the actual door right above the rubber. i like it on the rubber more.
