Question Undercarriage Care

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I could use to keep the underside of my truck looking like new? The truck won't be driven in the rain much, and won't see snow. I would like something to keep moisture from creating suface rust.

Any ideas?

Thumbs up

I use engine degreaser and a pressure washer. I'll drive the truck on some ramps. With the angle of my driveway and the ramps on the "down hill" side, I have all kinds of room to crawl under. Do the front and back this way. I just put on a rain coat and some goggles and start spraying!

I've also sprayed mine with a black undercoating. On all the metal parts anyway. Frame, sheet metal, etc. Avoided the aluminum parts like the tranny and trans case, etc. If you do ever get into any mud, you'll find that it likes to find the smallest of spaces to hide.

Works for me.
